REAL MADRID will make a move for Tottenham striker Harry Kane, and Spurs will find it hard to turn down.
That is according to Sky Sports pundit and former Arsenal and England forward Paul Merson.
Kane has been linked with a move to Real Madrid in the past as they look to replace the goals lost by Cristiano Ronaldo leaving for Juventus.
The La Liga giants have struggled this season and sacked manager Julen Lopetegui in October after only four months at the helm.
And Merson reckons with Real struggling it is only a matter of time before they raid Tottenhamfor Kane.
“A big worry for Tottenham, I keep on saying it,” he said.
“The stadium’s costing a lot of money, Real Madrid are not doing well.
“They’re going to come for him, they’re going to come for him.
“It’s up to Tottenham to turn it down. No (they wouldn’t turn it down). What £150million? That’s a lot of money.
“I’m not saying this season, I’m saying next season. I think next season.”
Last week England boss Gareth Southgate claimed Harry Kane was the best goalscorer in the world.
Merson does not agree but is pleased to see Southgate backing his captain.
“He’s there to score goals and he scores goals. You can’t knock that,” he continued.
“And the manager’s good, he gives him confidence.
“That’s what you want, you want managers to give you that belief and that’s what Gareth’s doing.
“He’s up there.”
