Ivan Perisic will complete his summer transfer move to the Bundesliga side Bayern Munich from Inter Milan in coming days.
The Croatian has been heavily linked with the English Premier League sides Tottenham and Arsenal before Monaco joined the race for the services of the 30-year-old but it was understood that Bayern is the favourite to land the player this summer window.
Bayern has seen Perisic as an alternative to Manchester City winger Leroy Sane who they are supposed to have finalised the signing of the German starlet, but they couldn’t due to an injury that will restrict him from playing throughout 2019/2020 season.
The Croatian will sign a one-year loan contract for Bayern, with an option to buy the player permanently at 20 million euros. The loan will cost the club 5 million euros in a deal which appears to satisfy all parties.
