According to Fabrizio Romano, Fiorentina are in talks with Real Madrid about signing Luka Jovic on a season-long loan. The Italians want Madrid to fund at least half of the Serbian’s wages for the term of the contract, which would be €3 million each. Talks are currently taking place.
Madrid have completed the most of their summer business, signing Aurelien Tchouameni and Antonio Rudiger to improve the squad as they prepare to defend both La Liga and the Champions League. More incomings rely on sales.
Fiorentina are asking for Real Madrid to cover at least 50% of Luka Jović salary to complete one-season loan deal. It would mean €3m for Fiorentina, €3m for Real Madrid until June 2023. 🇷🇸 #transfers

And players like Jovic are anticipated to leave the club. The 24-year-old striker joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2019 after making an impression in the Bundesliga with Eintracht Frankfurt. However, he has been unable to recreate the form that earned him the promotion in the first place. He scored 40 goals in 91 appearances for Eintracht, but only three in 51 for Real Madrid.
