Romelu Lukaku will be transferred to Chelsea on a loan basis after an agreement between the two parties. The Serie A team has agreed to pay the attacker an $8 million loan fee plus add-ons and will also pay his whole salary.
The player will receive a guaranteed salary of €8 million plus €4 million in performance-related bonuses after agreeing to take a pay cut to rejoin Inter. The striker is not included in the agreement as a permanent purchase option or obligation, therefore it is anticipated that he will return to Chelsea in the summer of 2019 when his loan is up.

Only three months after his £100 million return transfer to Chelsea, the Belgian was attempting to rejoin Inter Milan. Chelsea can now focus on incoming transfers since they have already resolved their main issue for this transfer window. In order to strengthen their offensive, they are considering Ousmane Dembele and Raheem Sterling, while Jonathan Clauss and Jules Kounde are their primary defensive targets.
Following Romelu Lukaku’s official exit next week, Chelsea will need to organise their transfers over the ensuing few weeks.
