Free agent midfielder Nemanja Matić has arrived in Italy to finalise his free move to AS Roma, reuniting him with Jose Mourinho for the third time in his career.
The Serbian arrived in Rome just after his planned 9.30 a.m. CET arrival time at Ciampino Airport.
Several fans were on hand to greet the veteran midfielder, who will become the club’s first official signing of the summer after leaving Manchester United after five years.
Matić is currently on his way to Villa Stuart hospital for normal medical scans and testing. He’ll then fly to the club’s training facility in Trigoria to sign his two-year deal and make his move official.
