How WEH odds are calculated: Win either half odds are estimated from the 1X2 market using a calibrated conversion model. Because winning at least one half is easier than winning the full match, WEH odds are usually shorter than outright win odds. A team priced at 2.00 to win outright might be roughly 1.30 to 1.35 in the WEH market.

What Is Win Either Half — and What Do HWEH and AWEH Mean?

Win Either Half (WEH) is a football market where you back a team to outscore the opponent in at least one of the two halves. The full-time result is irrelevant.

  • HWEH — Home Win Either Half. The home team must score more goals than the away team in the first half, the second half, or both.
  • AWEH — Away Win Either Half. The away team must score more goals in at least one of the two halves.

The bet wins as long as the selected team wins one half — regardless of what happens in the other half or the final score. A 1-2 loss where the home team led 1-0 at half-time is still a winning HWEH bet. A 0-0 draw is a losing WEH bet for both sides.

The draw odds remain visible because WEH prices are estimated from the broader 1X2 market, even though a drawn full-time result can still be a winning WEH bet if one side won a half.

WEH Tip Column — HWEH or AWEH

Shows HWEH (home team to win either half) or AWEH (away team to win either half). Every selection passes a 48%+ confidence threshold using model output or a market-implied fallback where needed. The percentage shown beside the label is the confidence value used for the chosen WEH side.

WEH Odds Column

WEH is most meaningful for teams priced between 1.20 and 3.50 to win outright. Very short favourites already have much of the WEH edge priced in, while very long shots are less likely to dominate a half consistently enough for WEH to remain attractive.

Calculated WEH Odds 1.15–2.20

The resulting WEH price must fall between 1.15 and 2.20. Below 1.15 the return is often too small relative to the risk; above 2.20 usually suggests the fixture is too balanced for the half-win condition to be consistently attractive.
